This natural oak burl vessel was cut and sanded on a wood lathe, then fine-sanded and finished by hand
with multiple coats of tung oil. The glossy oil finish will last many years and is easily refreshed with another
light coat of tung oil if it ever slightly loses its sheen.
The bowl is approximately 3 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" in diameter.

This segmented wood vessel contains 120 pieces. Made from walnut, wenge, and pink ivory wood, carefully
pieced together and turned. I hand cut each piece of wood individually, carefully layered and glued it piece
by piece, then turned the bowl on a lathe to ensure a smooth, flowing rounded surface. Each piece is finished
with several coats of tung oil and wax for a soft glow that will last for years to come. Finally I wood burn
